The Nail Cushion concept protects your thumbs from hammers. It is a rubberized plate with several nail diameters. The cross holds a nail and lets the head pass through when you are finished pounding. So, you can hit the nail without injuring yourself.
Although, I think that busy people don’t have time to use this gadget and someone could make fun that you protect your delicate fingers.

Solid Alliance has released a special Merry Christmas Cake USB Hub! Solid Alliance is famous for the weird USB gadgets they created, like the campy-gross USB hub or the USB FoodHub.

The cake is amazing and delicious! The cream and the four strawberries look so natural! Yamy! I think this is the perfect gift for Christmas! The cake is a four-port USB 2.0 hub, and the four strawberries are flash drives providing 1GB memory.
Unfortunately, the cake is a bit expensive ¥50,000 ($453), but if you want to have one, better hurry, because reservations are only being accepted until December 3rd. Presently, the cake is available only in Japan, but they said this will be available online, too.

Phones
It’s not the first pen phone concept I heard about, but this pen is smaller and thinner. An anonymous person sent to the Gizmodo blog this concept design. This little phone uses ear buds for voice calls. It also features a little display, for revealing the caller’s identity, supports USB connection, the dialing numbers are arranged through the entire length of the pen, and it comes with a micro SD memory card slot. I really like the idea of cheating on exams with the nice pen. I wonder if you could use it for writing…

I’m sure that gadget will make the owner to become the attraction of public eyes. People will certainly amuse seeing you not only talking to yourself, but talking to… a pen. The Pen Phone concept will be probably developed, and, why not, a new collocation will be used: “I’m on the penâ€.

Invisibility
Invisible tanks?
It is not a new film or a computer game! The British Ministry of Defense conducted some tests last week, in which they made a tank completely invisible to someone standing at a certain point. That is more than an illusion, because the tank is there on the field, but you can not see it. The cameras and projectors hide it from your sight. If you look in the direction of the tank, you will only see what is beyond it. Sir John Pendry, from Imperial College London, declared: “The next stage is to make the tank invisible without them — which is intricate and complicated, but possible”.

Clearwire released their first mobile pre-WiMAX card. This high speed wireless PC card uses the Clearwire’s own broadband wireless network, and can match the same 1.5Mbps downstream speeds as one of Clearwire’s fixed connections.
Between benefits can also be mentioned that it’s a smaller device than others, which requires only the power provided by the client’s notebook.

“The Clearwire pc card is ideal for the majority of the population that spends most of their time in their local communitiesâ€, said Ben Wolff, Clearwire chief executive officer, and that “the card delivers a unique user experienceâ€.

Vicky Wei designed a concept for a possible infinite string of USB drives. This concept is great and, because I like vivid colors, I think the USB drive looks superb. With this Memory Infinite, you can occupy only a USB port on your computer. “Memory Infinite has a USB male connector at one end and a female connector at the other, providing an “add up†concept for USB finger discsâ€.

So, you can connect one Memory Infinite with another to have more space to store information and to share files. Plugged into a computer, the USB chain appears to be as a single USB drive. When you need more storage, just attach another Memory Infinite flash drive.

EDGE Tech Corp announced their new 32GB DiskGO Flash Drive, USB powered. I think it’s a gadget that everyone needs. The capacity is really colossal, but isn’t it a great idea to store more than 21,000 pictures, 32 hours of video, 8,000 songs, or 320,000 documents?

The 32GB DiskGO Flash Drive is not the first flash drive with such capacity, but the price ($400) is $200 less than any flash drive of this capacity. Features also include plug-and-play support, built-in pen clip, a keychain grommet, and removable cap.
The transfer rate is up to 480Mb/s, and the drive includes a free preview of CryptArchiver encryption software.
