Solid Alliance has released a special Merry Christmas Cake USB Hub! Solid Alliance is famous for the weird USB gadgets they created, like the campy-gross USB hub or the USB FoodHub.

The cake is amazing and delicious! The cream and the four strawberries look so natural! Yamy! I think this is the perfect gift for Christmas! The cake is a four-port USB 2.0 hub, and the four strawberries are flash drives providing 1GB memory.
Unfortunately, the cake is a bit expensive ¥50,000 ($453), but if you want to have one, better hurry, because reservations are only being accepted until December 3rd. Presently, the cake is available only in Japan, but they said this will be available online, too.

Vicky Wei designed a concept for a possible infinite string of USB drives. This concept is great and, because I like vivid colors, I think the USB drive looks superb. With this Memory Infinite, you can occupy only a USB port on your computer. “Memory Infinite has a USB male connector at one end and a female connector at the other, providing an “add up†concept for USB finger discsâ€.

So, you can connect one Memory Infinite with another to have more space to store information and to share files. Plugged into a computer, the USB chain appears to be as a single USB drive. When you need more storage, just attach another Memory Infinite flash drive.

EDGE Tech Corp announced their new 32GB DiskGO Flash Drive, USB powered. I think it’s a gadget that everyone needs. The capacity is really colossal, but isn’t it a great idea to store more than 21,000 pictures, 32 hours of video, 8,000 songs, or 320,000 documents?

The 32GB DiskGO Flash Drive is not the first flash drive with such capacity, but the price ($400) is $200 less than any flash drive of this capacity. Features also include plug-and-play support, built-in pen clip, a keychain grommet, and removable cap.
The transfer rate is up to 480Mb/s, and the drive includes a free preview of CryptArchiver encryption software.

Tempo recently unveiled what they called an External Recycle Bin. It is an external hard drive, enclosed in a trashcan-shaped box. It has a nice shape and unique look. If you delete a file on your computer, that file is stored in that external Recycle Bin.
This new 250GB external hard drive is connected to your computer via Bluetooth.

Its dark color becomes step by step blue, as you throw files into this external device.
But this is not so practical because there are many smaller and cheaper devices which you can use to store information you don’t really need now, but perhaps once you will look for. Of course, you can burn tens of DVDs with files you’d never use, so it’s more practical to empty the external recycle bin when you are sure that files are useless. But it is nice and looks Ok for me.

Gresso Ltd continues to amaze us with the fancy things (such as luxury cell phones) it makes out of African Blackwood. This time the mysterious Russian company attempts a break in the MP3 market with the Gresso Symphonia Collection.
In spite of not being a conventional material for making a MP3 player, the hard African Blackwood is actually very suitable for its use as it is resistant to impacts and renowned for highly prized instruments made out of it.
The Symphonia Collection comes in different combinations of African Blackwood with white or pink gold trim and will be released this spring. The striking thing about these wooden MP3 players is that they only have 1GB of internal flash memory in spite of the incrusted 18-carat gems worth between $4000 and $6000. They do have an FM tuner yet considering the cost, a larger memory would have been recommended.
