Security
The British company ThruVision, has developed the T5000 camera that can detect what’s in your pocket from 80 feet (24.38 meters) away. The camera uses a technology known as Terahertz or T-rays and identifies items by the low-level electromagnetic radiation they emit.

The camera detects objects such as explosives, guns, and even drugs and it’s effective when people are moving.
Fortunately, it doesn’t reveal physical body details and the screening is harmless. For the moment, cameras like these will be used in places like airport security checkpoint, sporting events or shopping malls.
I wonder how long it will take the security to install these cameras on the street and to arrest people walking around with bombs or drugs in their pockets.
The technology will be unveiled at a scientific development exhibition sponsored by Britain’s Home Office on March 12-13.
